Publisher review:CityPort is a turn-key interactive map portal program. It can work as just business directory (directory, search, categories management, records management, and so on) or in combination with LVME map engine. In conjunction with LVME, CityPort allows representation of all records on the map (or maps), map-based directory navigation and so on.
FRONT END:
- Traditional portal with directories/subdirectories navigation with keyword search feature
- Explore a map by zooming/panning
- Find any street on the map
- Browse records together with their location information
- Click on map symbol to get information on the location
- View detailed information on a record
BACK END:
- Moderate submissions
- Add/Edit/Remove any record
- Add/Edit/Delete portal categories
- Change system settings
USER LOGIN:
- Submit a new record
- Visually select location for new record
- Login to the system to update/delete the record
- View record statistics (number URL clicks and profile views)
REQUIREMENTS
- CityPort can run on any standard web server with Perl and MySQL support
CUSTOMIZATION:
- Easily change design and layout with HTML templates
- Add your own maps and street indexes
